North Carolina Blizzard

So, school has been cancelled because of the snow and I thought it would be fun to go outside and play. By the way, the snow is not sticking to roadways so people here tend to overreact to a little snow.
Here are a few pictures that sum up the "fun in the snow." We are supposed to get 5.2 inches of snow. Wow! Our weathermen think they can predict to the tenths of an inch.
The picture of Jason is a look of horror when he realized that snow is really cold on his hands.

Hawaii

Here are some pictures of Hawaii. We went to Hawaii for Christmas this year. After 7 hours of Daniel crying on the way there, we enjoyed staying on the beach. After absolutely no sleep on the 8 1/2 hour flight home, we were exhausted.

New additions to our family

The American Cocker Spaniel mix is Radio. (We didn't name him. I have no idea why they named him that.) He is the calm one. He's 7 months old. He does get into Starr's face to make her fight.

The Pomeranian mix is Starr. She is 4 1/2 months old. She is a little hyper.

Daniel is terrified one minute and then totally comfortable the next. The other kids are a little scared. They get freaked out when the dogs run and play. Both dogs are nice.
We have officially adopted Radio. He is a keeper because Daniel put his finger in his eye and said "eye." Radio just sat there and was fine with it. He gave me the "Are you serious?" look, but just closed his eye and took it.
Star is being fostered until she is fixed. The jury is still out as to whether we will keep Starr. She is much more hyper and has growled at Jason and Rachel. They got near her while she was chewing on a toy, but she has to realize that kids are going to get in her face occasionally. She is a puppy, but if she doesn't relax between now and the 16th, she might be staying at the Animal Protection place. Hopefully, everybody will calm down and we will see if everybody gets along well.
